Måndagkväll. Lyssnar på opera (Faust av Gounod), spelar Diablo 3 och funderar på livet, universum och allting.

Och så stänger vi av Diablo 3 och tittar på Phantom of the Opera istället. TV-versionen i två delar från 1990. Tänkte nog ge mig på att göra en ny filmreview, så som jag gjorde med filmerna om Bathory. Det låter väl kul? Jämföra lite olika filmatiseringar av Phantom of the Opera, samt även jämföra med boken av Gaston Leroux (och kanske även boken av Terry Pratchett, eh? ;))

Men ja. Nu skall jag phangirla lite över Charles Dance som Erik och lämna bloggen därhän för kvällen, såvida jag inte orkar skriva en wall of text om fantomen ikväll. Men jag har huvudvärk på gång så det bör inte räknas med.

Fem saker du inte visste om mig

  1. När jag gick i åttan eller nian så kom det irländska pojkbandet Westlife. Huvudsångaren liknade en av våra klasskamrater väldigt mycket (på ett negativt sätt, vi hade lite problem med honom vilket projicerades på sångaren) och det var ganska ocoolt att lyssna på dem alls. Jag, err, köpte skivan. Och lyssnar på den än idag. Bonusinfo: När jag var ihop med en black metal-gitarrist i gymnasiet så höll jag skivan gömd bakom en massa bös i min bokhylla, så att bara mina *coola* skivor fanns framme för beskådan och för att han aldrig skulle kunna hitta den babyblåa pojkbandsskivan i min annars monokront svarta skivsamling. Gothfail ;)
  2. Jag har tidigare nämnt att jag trots mitt namn och mina personliga preferenser för det mesta föredrar en bra komedi framför en lökig skräckfilm. Det finns ett undantag till detta, och det är lökiga high school-filmer. Dock verkar det här intresset främst hålla sig till filmer som kom mellan 1980 och typ 2000. Jag gillar INTE det här High school musical-tramset. Vi snackar alltså typ Jawbreaker och She’s all that, den sortens filmer. Tummen upp!
  3. Speaking of skräckfilm och pojkband: Musikvideon till Everybody (Backstreet’s back) av Backstreet Boys är en av mina favoritvideos genom tiderna. Låten är inte jättebra men lagom catchy, men videon är awesome. De är ju utklädda till monster! Och Kevin (JA JAG KAN NAMNET PÅ DEM, VEM FAN KAN INTE DET!?) är faktiskt väldigt snygg som Jekyll&Hyde :3
  4. När jag var liten, typ sådär 7-8, så var jag kär i Turtles. Fast inte Rafael, han var så grinig. Har aldrig gillat de där sura karaktärerna; jag är lika avigt inställd till t.ex. Butter (Snövit och de sju dvärgarna) och Gramse (Bumbibjörnarna). Bonusinfo: Jag gillade dock grymlingarna och hertig Torulf. Det är nog bara griniga good-guys jag inte gillar.
  5. Sista gången jag aktivt höll mig i solen med intentionerna att få *färg* var jag 14. Det är 14 år sedan. Nu undviker jag istället solen för kung och fosterland av följande anledningar:
    • Jag får ont i huvudet av för mycket solsken, och då i synnerhet solsken som ligger direkt på min lilla huvudknopp.
    • Jag bränner mig väldigt lätt och får soleld bara jag tänker på att gå ut, känns det som ibland.
    • Jag tycker att det är så mycket snyggare att vara blek. Bonusinfo: Jag gillar väldigt bleka killar, men de skall helst inte vara blekare än mig för då känner jag mig för brun. …jag har väl aldrig påstått att jag är normal?!

I don’t snooze. Well, sometimes I do, but I always regret the decision when the alarm rings for the second time because I am so much more tired at that point. I didn’t snooze today, I just fell asleep again anyway. Fsck. Well, I woke up 15 minutes later and panicked, so it’s all good, but still.

Yesterday after finishing eating a big sub with chicken and bacon I fell asleep on the couch. Slept there for two hours, woke up and realized that 1) it is 10PM and 2) my right arm has gone numb since I slept on it. Oops. Brushed my teeth and went to bed, and I thought I wouldn’t be able to sleep the whole night through but apart from waking up a quickie around 4AM I was proven wrong, wooo :)

…so, of course, I am insanely tired today from getting too much sleep :D
Yes, boils and ghouls, this little zombie is never satisfied with what she get, haha :D Noo, that is not true. It only counts when it comes to sleep :P

Tomorrow is the birthday party yay! Ordered a cake yesterday since I can’t be arsed with baking one this year, need to tidy up the place and I don’t want to go around smelling of chocolate cake all night even though I understand some people would find that charming.

For those of you who are wondering when (if) you should congratulate me for having survived yet another year as a zombie, it’s on tuesday that I officially grow a year older. And I have such plans for this year, just you wait! I am still working on all the preparations for what I want to achieve, so sooner or later you are going to be able to take part in it or at least know about it ^_^

But now I need clothes and probably a shot of adrenaline, haha. Have a nice day and don’t forget: It’s friday I’m in love.

Very pop-ish in comparison with previous lists, I think. I found me some Apoptygma Berzerk and was happy to see that they had the shorter version of Love Never Dies (Part 2) without all the silence in it, woo. So yeah, APB in three of these spots. Oops. I am tbh a bit amazed that Hello featuring Dragonette isn’t at a higher position, it feels like that is all I am listening to right now ^^

Also happy that I found London After Midnight. I was gooling like a mad(wo)man last Saturday, trying to figure out the name since I had forgotten everything but the fact that the singer has red hair (which you already know if you actively follow me on Twitter). NOT the easiest thing to google! So I started searching through last.fm and ”Artists similar to Blutengel” and found LAM on page 4 or something, lol. Happy squeal! Yay! Kiss is a really good song, it is awesome for powerwalking and sultry dancing :)

My premonitions for next list is that Blutengel will be somewhere on the top, haha. Their new album is pretty sweet, and Chris has a really good voice :3

Two nights in a row I have awakened at ~1:30 and thought it was time to get up. Not good. Not good at all. Kind of explains why I’m feeling zombiefied (Curiouser and curiouser and curiouser still) (do you get it? do you? no.)

Wednesday. Again. Mittwoch. Time flies. Tempus fugit. But we’re having a friend coming over tonight, which is nice! It’s one of Nath’s friends, but I like her too, so there! :3 But yeah, I’ll either be the third wheel or I’ll just go play WoW if things get awkward ^_^

Got this link yesterday and I can’t stop listening to that damn song! It’s too cute! And catchy! And …argh! So yeah. That is what I listened to. Or used to listen to, but then I took an arrow to the knee.

The above picture. I miss those shoes, but they were too small, so this is the picture I used to sell them on Tradera. Everyone likes pretty legs right?
I found out via a friend once that someone was using that picture and claiming it to be her on some dating community. So I had to register to tell her to remove my picture that she was using without me allowing it. And she straight out refused! lolwut? Who does that?! I would be so goddamn embarrassed if I claimed to be someone who actually found out about it and asked me to stop. Good thing I have all these good pictures of myself then, if I ever feel the need to register for a dating community :3
I mean… if people use my pictures to gain attention, that should kind of mean that the real deal WOULD get attention amirite? lol.

Time to get dressed! Just need to finish listening to that darn song… ◊
