Current Top 5 according to Spotify

According to my Spotify profile these are the top five artists I am listening to right now, and it looks about right. I’m just happy the more ”embarrassing” artists in my playlists never show up here, haha ^^

So I was thinking ”Why not share?”. Of course people have heard of Sisters of Mercy and Depeche Mode, but still. Perhaps some of you haven’t..?
In case those of you who are interested don’t have Spotify I’ll link you some good songs from Youtube, because then you don’t have any reasons NOT to go listen and perhaps find something new you might like :)

1. Pendulum – Crush
I’ve only listen to Pendulum for about two months, after asking my friend Jakob for some musical tips. He came up with Pendulum and the album Immersion, and here we are today – Pendulum is number 1 in the current top five.

2. Sisters of Mercy – More
My first contact with Sisters of Mercy was when I was 16-17 and a member of a site called Blandband, were people exchanged mixed tapes and CD’s with each other. I had requested some nice goth music and got a CD with 3-4 Sisters’ songs on it (among other goodies, like Siouxsie and the Banshees and Inkubus Sukkubus). Been stuck ever since ^_^

3. Haggard – Per Aspera Ad Astra
Haggard was a musical tip from my coworker and friend Mattias, whom told me about them when we were going to Iron Maiden last summer. It took me a while before I looked them up, but when I did I was hooked. Waitaminute, italian metal about Gallileo, with both growl AND clean female song?? Yeah. There’s nothing about this I don’t like :3 They also made a kick-ass italian version of the old swedish song Herr Mannelig (Garmarna has a version of it, check it out).

4. Rhapsody (in fire) – Emerald Sword
I started listening to Rhapsody when I was ~16, and I thought I was WAY cool. Then when I started dating my ex, P, he informed me that they weren’t as cool as I thought, haha. Still, I like them. Rhapsody (currently known as ”Rhapsody in Fire”) is the kind of music that makes me look for the nearest sword to grab so I can run into the woods to kill off some trolls and dragons. Very heroic music. I got their first 5 or 6 albums and I think this is the shit :D

5. Depeche Mode – Stripped
Well, everyone has head DM. They are played on the radio, for one! Just can’t get enough, Personal Jesus, It’s no good… Yeah, they are nice. But it was when I was watching a documentary about DM when I was about… um… 18-19? that I first heard Stripped, and I was stuck. I love this song, I love how it is put together and I love the lyrics. Love!

Bang bang

Sometimes I think about cutting bangs again. I like bangs. I look good in bangs. But, I have this little evil twirl on one side of my forhead that fucks it all up, so it is so much work to get the bangs to stay down and look OK. If I go outside and the wind comes at me the bangs is messed up as soon as look at it, which sucks. And still I can’t get the thought out of my head… I don’t think I’ll cut it though, because I really like being able to pull all the hair away from my face and put it in a pony tail without having it hanging in the way of my eyes, so there. It’s just me being stuck again.

Today I have passed the mirror a couple of times and thought the thought that I kind of look like a dark brown-haired Snow White. Not a bad thought, not at all. I like it :) It almost makes me want to go back to black, haha. But nah, I’ll keep it brown for now. Brown and without bangs, that’s the way it should be I think.

…or red. But that will be back soon enough :) I’ll enjoy being a brunette for a while now, and then I’ll go redhead again.

ANYWAY this is boring so yeah, whatever. What I really wanted to say is this: I am tired and going to bed now. Good night :3

Medium rare

We ate at O’Learys yesterday. Had a nice evening, even though we all of a sudden had to watch the swedish takeouts for Eurovision Song Contest. It was awful! I really don’t understand how and why people watch that ridicilous shit volontarily, because my ears and eyes hurt after watching it. People are free to like whatever they want, of course, but yikes. I wasn’t aware it was THAT bad. Had to go home and listen to some real music when we left, because that was just frightening. Meep.

Anywayyyyy. I am really satisfied with the way my hair turned out after dying the roots yesterday! It is a darker brown now, with some red nuances, which is nice. I dyed my eyebrows as well, and this time it didn’t make me look like a clown, woo! As you can see in the picture below I am not always lucky when dying the eyebrows:

I’ll see if I can put up any pictures of the current look. If not before then it will show up sometime during the week, with me taking almost daily snapshots of my current look and all. Like so.

Yes. Um. Got nothing else to add right now ^_^

Self-improvement

Today we went out to Väla for some glorious shopping. Egads. I have SOME money left in my bank account, but that is pretty much until I have paid the stuff I bought at Tradera ;) (a box with 13 horror movies + stockings for my birthday) and then I am more or less broke. Again. ^^

So yeah. I bought three really nice shirts for 35:- each at New Yorker; two purple/aubergine and one that is dark red. I am wearing the red one right now, will be wearing it for dinner tonight, and that colour is really nice. Looks good with my newly dyed dark brown/reddish hair too ;3 Ooh I’m so pretty!

Bought some small knick-knacks and a cute skirt that was at a sale, and then we went to the bra store because I wanted to buy a new bra. I think we spent about 1 hour in Change (lingerie store) and we ended up buying a total of 7 bras with matching knickers. It turned out that I had to have my bra size re-evaluated, so yeah. Not what I had planned, and not sure if happy with the result. But yeah, hopefully the new bras I got (4) can help take some weight of my shoulders and if they do I don’t really care about numbers and letters in this case. Nothing really changes apart from what I have to answer should anyone ask and I feel inclined to inform them. Pretty much so.

So yeah. One might say I spent too much money today, but at least I got some neat stuff and I can enjoy the budding spring whilst looking really good, so feh. Careface. It’s only money, I’ll get new ones next month ;)

Tonight we are going back to O’learys for dinner. Not sure if I’ll end up with a club sandwich or with a ginormeous beef steak, but yeah. If I know myself right I guess I’ll have the meat ;) Will prolly put a pic or two on Instagram later on so.

IF I could eat whatever I wanted tonight though, I’d probably go for this:

Things I eat when brains aren’t available

Was allowed to take out some of my free hours and leave work 1,5 hour early yesterday so that I could go home to tidy up before my mother was coming here. Accidentally ran into her on the way home, so she followed me home and kept me company while I cleaned. When I was done we went to Ebba’s Fik for a fika, and I ate this really nice chocolate mint cake with whipped cream:

After we finished our fika we went around town for a while to see where we were going to eat dinner. My brother didn’t quit work until 8PM so we had to wait for him. After checking out the menu and locations of some of the places we went to O’learys for a beer or two and a LOT of fun talk. Mom telling me and Ilir (who accompanied us) stories from when she and dad were young and travelling, haha ^_^

And then we went around town again. At first we went to Sirocco, but they were fully booked. Then we checked out Harry’s, but they didn’t have any good options for mom, so we ended up at Steakhouse. Classic place for us to eat, haha. I think we eat there every time mom visit ^_^ I ordered a Black & White and it tasted glorious (well, of course. it is meat, and meat is LE AWESOME, so it is only to be expected ^^)

Weird thing at the restaurant when the waitress thought that me and my brother were a couple, and that mom and Ilir were dating. Um. She didn’t believe us at first when I told her that Zzuck is my 6 years younger brother, she thought he was two years older than me. Then she complimented our accents and went away, after wishing me luck in Singstar. lol.

So we went home and battled our asses off in Singstar for a couple of hours before Ilir left for home and the rest of us went to bed.

All in all a VERY nice evening! ♥♥♥

Nothing changes the fact that I am a girl, but the fact that I am a girl changes nothing

I had all these weird dreams about being pregnant and having a baby. The dreams were strongly influenced by some of the mom-blogs I read, but still very strange. And then I woke up an hour before my alarm and I had to try to fall back to sleep again. I am pretty sure I did not succeed in that, because I am really tired right now and I almost feel dizzy.

Yesterday I transferred my paladin to Stormreaver to start levelling her aswell. So I have two healers at 85, one at 82 and one at 62 at the moment. I like healing :3 I can’t really say that playing a healer is something that is particularly ”girly” either, even though people have made that kind of comment. The majority of the girls I know that play WoW play dps, and they usually go for the warlocks or hunters. All the healers I know and have played with are men, with one or two exceptions. So meh, can’t really say that I think that ”healing is girly!”. People are still entitled to their opinions, though ;)

My mother comes to visit today so my plan is to go take a fika at Ebba’s after work while waiting for my brother to end his shift. And tomorrow we are going to Väla to spend a lot of money on useless shopping, haha ^^ Nah, but I kind of need a pair of good spring shoes and perhaps some cute outfits now that the sun is back to haunt us :) Haven’t seen my mom since mid-December so will be nice to be able to spend some time with her :)
