Jag älskar den här låten. Jag tycker att den är cirka hur bra som helst, och den gör mig ändå glad i maggropen för att den är så bra. Men samtidigt så är den connectad till en person som jag just nu bara vill skuffa bort och inte tänka på mer. Någonsin. Typ.

Så jag lyssnar inte så ofta på den numera. Det händer ibland att Spotify spelar upp den, men för det mesta så byter jag bara låt och inget mer. Ibland lyssnar jag, gillar läget och försöker att bara pressa bort minnena.

I ärlighetens namn skall väl sägas att denna låten mest påminner mig om två andra saker än sommaren; a) Min gymnasietid, då jag först upptäckte bandet och ivrigt stoppade dem under min hud, samt b) en solig tidig vårdag då jag stod på gotlandsbåten och stampade i väntan på att portarna skulle öppnas och släppa ut mig i den kyliga nynäshamnsluften. Bortsett från DET så tycker jag att låten är väldigt somrig och den låter som solsken för mig.

Dagens sång – en låt jag en gång fick skickad till mig av en pojke jag var vän med över internet när jag var sexton år gammal och världen var en svår och förtvivlad plats. Hans namn var Peter, han var norrlänning och väldigt vacker. Låten har fått följa med mig sedan dess, i tolv år nu. Det finns andra bra låtar av gruppen, men denna är ändå speciell. Och så väldigt vacker och så väldigt lätt att lyssna på gång efter gång. Peters ord: ”Man kan lyssna på den oändligt, och varje gång man lyssnar hör man något nytt i den”.

Fast här är jag 17 och inte 16 men ja. Ändå.
